I am a licensed marriage and family psychotherapist and I started my journey as a therapist working with youth and families in crisis. It was through that experience that I learned that I loved working with individuals wanting to resolve their traumas and work on their personal growth. Taking a strengths-based approach, I have been helping individuals, couples, and families navigate their problems and work towards their goals for over 8 years.

I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of California, Santa Cruz (let’s go banana slugs!) and I received my master’s degree in counseling at California State University, Northridge. Throughout my studies and even after licensure, I have maintained continuing education and training utilizing CBT, trauma-focused modalities, and Brainspotting treatment. Currently, I am based in the Los Angeles area and working via telehealth throughout the beautiful state of California.

When I am not seeing clients, I spend my time engaging in my own self-care by hiking, finding joy outdoors, and practicing yoga (usually in a 100+ degree room). I have a great love for animals and you may even spot my husky, Koda, in the background of some of our sessions. I also enjoy spending quality time with my husband and baby.

Hi, I’m Danielle

It is my goal to make you feel heard and supported throughout our time together. I do not consider myself the type of therapist who sits back, nods, and allows for the typical ‘vent sesh’. Clients come to therapy to work on themselves and create change. Therefore, I provide a collaborative experience, offering feed-back, personal and tailored strategies to meet your individual needs, and a warm partnership to help you achieve your goals. I truly value the nature of the therapeutic relationship, and I understand that this journey is not an easy one. You matter, you are heard, you are seen. If you are ready to let go of the things that are no longer serving you and finally take steps to improve your life, find balance, and work on your relationship with yourself and others- let’s chat!

A warm approach
